Privacy

The short version: we collect as little as we can, we show no ads, and we never ask who is playing.

What we collect

• Your email address, if you create an account, so you can sign in and reset your password.
• Whether you are a member. Stripe handles the payment, through Link; we never see or store your card number. When you buy a membership we give Stripe your account's email address, so the purchase and its receipts go to the right person. What Link does with payment details is in its privacy policy.
• We don't ask who is playing. No names, no ages, nothing typed in about your children.
• No ads and no ad tracking. We don't sell or share what little we have.
• A record of visits. We keep our own record of how the site is used: which pages and games each browser opens, when, for how long, and on what kind of device (just "phone," "tablet," or "computer"). We also note whether anyone touched, clicked, or typed on a page, which tells people apart from programs that open pages by themselves. To tell one browser from another and to see when one comes back, the site keeps a random number in a cookie in your browser. If you are signed in, the record is linked to your account. We use it only to see what families play and to make the site better. It never goes to an analytics company, an advertiser, or anyone else, and records are deleted after 400 days.

Saved games

Games save how you're doing, like a best score, coins, or how far you got. If you're signed in, the save is kept with your account, so you can carry on from any device. If you're not, it stays in your own browser, and if you make an account or sign in later, it moves to that account. A save holds only the game's own numbers, nothing about who is playing.

Other companies

Pages and games load their fonts from Google Fonts and a graphics library from Cloudflare's network. Like any website, those services see your device's internet address when it asks for the files. Buying or changing a membership takes you to Stripe's own pages.

Changes

If we change this page in a way that matters, we will say so here before it takes effect.
